Aluminium,
endlessly reborn

Aluminium can be recycled again and again without losing quality, and making it from scrap takes a fraction of the energy needed to make it from bauxite. From server chassis to solar frames, we separate it, clean it and send it back into use.

Where it comes from

Where aluminium
hides

  • 01

    Heat sinks

Finned coolers from computers, servers, LED lights and power electronics.

  • 02

    Chassis & casings

Laptop bodies, server and rack enclosures, hard-drive housings.

  • 03

    Solar module frames

Extruded frames recovered when panels are decommissioned.

  • 04

    AC & radiator parts

Aluminium fins and radiators from cooling equipment.

  • 05

    Aluminium cable

Power and service cable with aluminium conductors.

How we recover it

Four steps,
no shortcuts

See the full extraction process →
  1. 01

    Remove & sort

Aluminium parts are removed by hand and sorted by alloy type: cast, extruded and sheet.

  2. 02

    Shred

Mixed material is shredded into fragments small enough to separate.

  3. 03

    Eddy-current separation

A spinning magnetic field throws aluminium pieces off the belt and away from plastics and other non-metals.

  4. 04

    Clean & bale

Clean aluminium is baled, weighed and dispatched for remelting into new ingots.

Questions

Aluminium FAQ

What is the aluminium scrap rate today?+

Rates follow the metal markets and depend on alloy and cleanliness. Clean heat sinks and extrusions fetch more than mixed or painted scrap. Tell us what you have for a same-day quote.

Do you buy solar panel aluminium frames?+

Yes, either as frames alone or as whole panels. When we decommission solar modules, the frame is the first thing recovered.

How is aluminium separated from e-waste?+

After hand-sorting and shredding, an eddy-current separator uses a spinning magnetic field to push aluminium pieces off the belt and away from plastics and glass.

Is recycled aluminium as good as new?+

Yes. Aluminium doesn't degrade when recycled, which is why most aluminium ever produced is still in use.
