Copper recovery
from e-waste

Copper is the backbone of every device: in its cables, coils, motors and the traces of every circuit board. We separate it cleanly so it can go straight back into wire, without another mine being dug.

Where it comes from

Where copper
hides

  • 01

    Cables & wiring

Power cords, data cables, harnesses, server and telecom cabling.

  • 02

    Circuit boards

Copper laminate and traces inside every PCB, recovered with the board's other metals.

  • 03

    Motors & compressors

Copper windings from fans, pumps, AC and fridge compressors.

  • 04

    Transformers & coils

UPS, inverter and power-supply transformers, chokes and inductors.

  • 05

    Heat pipes & busbars

Cooling assemblies, server busbars and distribution parts.

How we recover it

Four steps,
no shortcuts

See the full extraction process →
  1. 01

    Sort by grade

Cable is sorted by type and insulation, since bright, mixed and insulated copper are worth different amounts.

  2. 02

    Strip or granulate

Thick cable is stripped; thin and mixed cable is granulated into small chips.

  3. 03

    Separate

Air and density tables separate heavy copper granules from light plastic insulation.

  4. 04

    Recover & weigh

Clean copper is bagged, weighed and documented, ready to be melted into new wire rod.

Questions

Copper FAQ

What is the copper scrap rate today?+

Copper scrap prices move daily with the metal markets and depend on grade and purity. Share what you have (type, approximate weight and a photo) and we'll quote a rate for that day after inspection.

Do you buy insulated copper cable?+

Yes. We buy insulated cable of all gauges, from single cords to bulk industrial cabling. It's priced by expected copper yield after stripping or granulation.

How is copper extracted from e-waste?+

Mechanically, without burning. Cables are stripped or granulated, then air and density separation splits copper from plastic. Circuit-board copper is recovered along with the board's other metals in a controlled process.

Is copper from e-waste as good as new copper?+

Yes. Copper doesn't lose its properties when recycled, so recovered copper can be refined back to the same grade as copper from ore.

Can you collect large quantities of copper scrap?+

Yes. We arrange pickups from offices, factories and warehouses across Bengaluru and Karnataka, with weighing and documentation for every load.
